The Swingles first made waves in the 1960s, when American-born Ward Swingle first assembled a group of Parisian session singers to sing Bach’s keyboard music. The resulting album, Jazz Sebastian Bach, launched the Swingle Singers to fame. Since then, they have won five Grammy® awards released more than 50 recordings – most recently the audacious Deep End and holiday album Yule Songs vol. II.

Launching in early 2017, The Swingles’ next project is a diverse collection of folk music from around the world, inspired by their international travels and featuring collaborations with traditional artists.

For more than half a century, The Swingles have pushed the boundaries of vocal music. The seven young singers that make up today’s London-based group are driven by the same innovative spirit that has defined the formation since their early days.

IIACF Hosts Ardú exists with two main objectives in mind: to bring entertainment and new musical experiences to as wide an audience as possible with accessible, popular and unique repertoire, and to educate and develop musicianship and vocal skills through an education programme which does not discriminate.

The six singers are from various parts of Ireland and the UK - all of whom have roots in traditional choral singing. They launched their debut album, ‘NOVA’ in November 2015. This eleven track album features well-known songs from artists such as Queen and Coldplay, all arranged to suit our unique sound.

In August 2016 Ardú launched the first ever 'Ireland's A Cappella Festival and performed sold out Live shows at Accents Cafe and The Button Factory in the space of a week! Other notable performances at Hugh Lane Gallery, Dublin, London A Cappella Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival and MusicTown Festival, Dublin.

The Ramparts Male-Voice Chamber Choir was set up in February 2016 by Dublin based choral conductor Ruaidhrí Ó Dalaigh. They're best described as a bunch of lads who love singing close harmonies whilst giving the barbershop genre a youthful facelift.

The Ramparts' first performance was in March 2016 where they sang for RTE's 'Reflecting The Rising' in front of a packed audience. They've performed as guest choirs for various corporate events in Trinity College, Freemasons Hall and Malahide. The highlight of 2016 was competing in the first all a capella competition hosted by Ardú in July, where they won the audience prize for most entertaining group.

Award-winning 4 IN A BAR is one of Ireland’s most loved vocal ensembles. Eoin, Tristan, Paul and Shane - current recipients of the IABS International Male Voice Quartet Award (and five-time Gold Medal winners) - have a passion for close harmony and Barbershop singing.

The guys enjoy a year-round schedule of engagements, including performing for the President of Ireland at Áras an Uachtaráin, Dublin, national and international TV coverage, jingle recordings, international competitions and festival performances.

Recent releases include the album ‘Hide and Seek’ ('Album of the Week', Aug 2015, RTÉ Lyric FM). Their arrangements are written in-house by tenor Eoin Conway.

Winners of Ireland's A Cappella Competition 2016, The Apple Blossoms are Ireland’s freshest vintage trio! Keri Ann, Kate, and Allison make up three-part vocal harmony trio, each with distinct styles but with a perfect blend together.

The Apple Blossoms have performed alongside Celtic Woman, as well as featuring at Dublin Airport’s 75th Anniversary, on RTE's "The Shelbourne," for the opening of some of Dublin’s trendiest boutiques, featuring on RTE, ITV, and TV3’s Xpose, and at the Dublin Horse Show. Additionally, they have entertained plenty of guests at weddings, parties, and corporate events of all shapes and sizes!
